Rooms App – New Feature Release!

The new Rooms App in Empower Cloud makes it easier than ever to manage rooms, residents, and related tasks within your facilities. Customize room properties, track resident details, and streamline workflows – all in one place.

• Create and manage rooms: Customize room types, statuses, and maximum occupancy.
• Assign residents to rooms: Assign residents with unique identifiers and view them in a centralized data grid.
• Logbook integration: Add logbook entries directly to room residents, with fields automatically populated for faster data entry.
• Task management: Create and assign tasks to room residents, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
• Notifications: Add staff as members to rooms and receive instant updates when changes occur.

Meals App – New Feature Release!

The new Meals App simplifies meal planning and tracking by allowing staff to add residents, staff, and volunteers to specific meals. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can easily manage and track meal services across your facility.

• Set up meal types: Customize the types of meals you wish to track, such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks.
• Meal subtypes: Further customize meal services by specifying options like location, delivery method, or special requests.
• Automate recurring meals: Use the Meal Frequency feature to automate recurring meals with flexible options for frequency, duration, and start/end times.
• Create and manage meals: Quickly create meals and assign residents, staff, and volunteers.
• Reporting: Refresh meal data for reporting with a single click, ensuring your meal counts are always up to date.

New Resident Entry/Exit Tab – Feature Update!

This new feature in the Residents App introduces an Entry/Exit tab to manage resident discharges, reinstatements, and status updates more efficiently. Track resident history and streamline room discharge processes with ease.

• Toggle to discharge a resident: Easily discharge a resident using a simple toggle switch.
• Status tracking: Add date and notes fields for the current resident status.
• Discharge-specific fields: Discharge fields are only displayed when a resident is marked as discharged.
• Resident history: Automatically create a resident history record, similar to room history.
• Reinstatement: Previously discharged residents can be reinstated and assigned to the same or a different facility.
• Room discharge automation: When discharging a resident, if they haven’t been manually discharged from their room, they are automatically discharged from the room, and a record is added to the room history.

1. Log in to Empower Cloud.
2. Navigate to the new apps and features under EGC Apps:
• Appointment App: Start setting up and managing your appointments.
• Rooms App: Begin creating rooms, assigning residents, and managing tasks.
• Meals App: Set up meal types, automate recurring meals, and manage meal services effortlessly.
• Resident Entry/Exit Tab: Track resident history, discharge, and reinstatement with the new tab in the Residents App.
